JCW Upgrade

I have a 2003 MCS with the JC Works. I am interested in the upgrade to increase the horsepower from 200 to 210.

Visited the Mini dealer and spoke to the parts department. They had no idea about an upgrade for the JCW; but it is a combined BMW and Mini departmet and they even seem to have a problem finding the Mini parts catelog.

Visited the sales department and the salesmen also had no idea what I wanted.

Logged on the the JC Works web site and located a reference to the upgrade; however, it only would show partially on the computer screen and I could not scroll over or otherwise get the information.

Could anyone provide information on what is included in the upgrade and the cost. If I could get a part number I might be able to get the Mini parts department to be of some help.

While it is another topic I don't have much hope for getting help from the service department. The dealership is about 40 miles from my home. I have had the car in about 6 times for service and installation of the works kit and have had to make two visit on 3 or 4 times because the car was not ready or right when I went to pick it up. When they installed the JCW the scratched the car. I have had two tires installed and in both cases they damaged the wheel. There is still a slow air leak from the last tire installation. Love the car but the service just is not up to expectations. The service manager has been good but the actual work leaves much to be desired.

The upgrade kit is part number 11 20 3 395 131. The kit includes an airbox, larger fuel injectors, and an ecu update. The kit is $525 plus 2 hours install.
Does this dealer have any JCW installation experience?

Buz Thanks for the information. The dealer has installed several JCW, mine was the 5th and that has been a year ago. I will follow-up with the dealer. I would like to have the work done when I take the car in for the 25,000 service.

VAWASMINI,
No problem. Thank goodness they have done some JCW installs. Are there any other dealers nearby that might know which way is up and will return your Mini unharmed and ready to play?
