03 MCS 163hp --> 168hp? - MINI Cooper Forum

Hey all,

Does anyone know how MINI has upped the HP and Torque of the S engine from 163hp to 168HP? If anyone has done it, could you post if it's easy and how to do it?

My guess is that they re-mapped the ECU. Aftermarket might be able to help. Doubt that they will be doing a retrofit.

Yeah... I was hoping that someone knew the remapping... I could just re-programme my ECU
