Anyone ran 19% on the track?

Is it safe to run 19% on the track? Which pulley kit is best for JCW?

Here's what MINI Madness has to say about the 19% pulley:
Quote:
By changing to a 19% reduction pulley the boost kicks in 750rpm sooner than the 15% pulley, ideal for street driving condition's ONLY! Not recommended for track use or long high revving situation's typically seen on the racetrack! Sustained 6000-7600rpm generates more heat reducing the 19% pullies effectiveness.

The JCW ECU is tuned specifically for the reduction pulley (about 14.4%) included in the kit ... why change it

Heard a couple tales of 19% pullies shredding belts on the track.
My 2¢ stick with the OEM unit.

Since I have the rx7 for track use, the only reason i installed 19% is because I retired the CooperS from the track. I will never take that high risk of blowing something with 19% on the track. Its perfect for street use, though...! 19% pulley has been proven that the TQ peaks 500rpm earlier and way more TQ than 15%.

You are right, I shouldnt take the risk. I might just get some JCW 380cc injectors with GIAC ecu to get it over with........
