Exhuast tip sizes?

Hi, our family just got a 04 MCS and the first thing we wanted to do is an exhaust. Well I searched google and found this great site. Now I did read the FAQ's on exhaust and intakes and I found what I liked almost. But the thing that bugged me is that most of the exhaust i liked had very small sized exhaust tips.

Heres an example of what I would want it to be like this E46 M3's tips

I.e. fills up the rear bumper opening

And not like the UUC that almost fills the opening.

Even though this almost fills the opening. and its a great exhaust. I just feel it would look better if the exhaust tips would fill the opening better.

So please give me your input on which exhaust system will have larger tips or any custom work can be done and if this in the wrong section or has been answered before please close this thread or pm me. Thank you.

You could always have larger stainless tips added. Borla has a nice selection. Or you can get the Magnaflow which has rather buxom tips.

I have the Milltek and it just fits in the standard exhaust room, see pic and:

If you want bigger you have to change the rear bumper I guess. the exhaust tips are close to the black bumper plastic. I think they cut some black plastic away in the above thread?

They look cool! Are these just the Borla tips??? If so where did you purchase them?
Thanks.
