newbie w/ aftermarket pulley

Now that some warnings have been posted concerning 'fake' Alta pulleys out there, I want to see what brand of pulley I have installed on my '03 MINI. I bought a used MINI recently and it has Alta springs and an Alta intake on it. I now know that I have a non-stock pulley since someone on this list posted the diameter of the stock pulley. But I cannot find a brand name or logo anywhere on it. I assumed any company selling these things would put something on it to label it as their part, but I cannot locate it. Does anyone know of any pics online of some of the more popular pulleys? Or perhaps have the dimensions of some of the standard sizes that the aftermarket pulleys come in? so that I could at least get a little farther with my search. I could also post a pic of the pulley installed on my car, if that would help.

Not necessarily. Many of the early pulleys had no logo.
Post a pick and it's a pretty good chance someone will recognize it.

You can see a picture of an ALTA pulley here Even if early models did not have a logo (and I know nothing either way on that score), I do not think yours looks like an ALTA.
