10w60 is used on highly stressed engines inc. V 8 endurance engines / and rally cars.

what would be a good replacement oil then ?

cheers

The good ole 5W30 ( I think maybe you folks run 0W30) the factory recommends.

If you do actually run endurance races than run that during the race then switch to a street blend once off the track. What's good for racing isn't always good for the street.
I don't know the MIller brand so can't comment. I run Lubrication Engineers 5W30. Tests better than Mobil 1.

We actually use the Mobil 1 Motor Bike oil, the Racing 4T 15W-50. As we dont have the really cold mornings can get away with a higher base.

The motor bike version of Mobil 1 doesnt have the detergents that the car derivatives have due to the motorbike wet clutches. The main reason we use is that at high heat/usage the oil doesnt "foam up" in the rocker cover and stops excessive oil breathing.

In the summer I run Mobil 1 15-50W and in the winter 5-30W if that is any help

Can't go wrong with Mobil 1 in my opinion (I am fond of royal purple and redline oils as well though).

Cheers,

Henry
