Anyone here did guess the top speed right of the bbr 300 bhp of 160 mph and won the 500 pound discount? (just curious)

Nope, I guessed 158mph (not far off) and they offered a 10% discount on anything, but I suspect, this applies for all entrants.

I got 10% discount too, my guess was 155, thought it had a limiter. Maybe they drove of a hill or so

just read the article, the vmax (top speed ) was 155 they only guessed it would be 160mph on a straight rd, id ask for the £500 discount if i guessed 155 (i didn't).

The correct answer is 155 not 160. read the article and make up your own mind.

Got my subs copy a few days ago.

The 160mph was not 'guessed' but corrected, to take into account the additional resistance factors they faced on the test circuit.

I don't have the article, but I am sure I read on the bbr site that they had it limited to 155. So that's why I 'guessed' 155. And when they did the contest this part was erased on there site.
Of course, with a little wind in the back and the track a bit going down you sure will hit 160.
