| dont know how it works... but a lot of Manufacturers are using lifetime fuel filters. Like Audi, Ford, Citroen.... loads of em now dont need changing. I suppose it could be that cos Petrol is refined to a higher quality than diesel, so it doesnt get so much cr@p in the tank/lines than you do in a diesel. Just my 2 pence on it... Dave |

| I agree with dave....all the above dealers mentioned use long life filters, when i was parts manager of Audi i had many customers ask this question, if they were really that worried about the fuel filter we would just change it ![]() THE Legend who helps ALL MINI owners |
