15% SC + 2% crank pulley or 17% SC pulley?

i got a 15% supercharge pulley but have not install yet. what i really want is a 17% pulley. shoud i just get a 2% oversize crank pulley? or just got mine sold and have a 17% SC pulley? is a 15% SC + 2% oversize pulley 100% = 17% pulley? will an oversize crank pulley kill my water pump alot faster? thanks

I think the jury is still out regarding the oversize crank pulley ... I'd sell the 15% and buy a 17%

There has been talk of the crank pulley mod causing long term problems with big end bearings, not too sure if this is the case but I would say just to be safe stick with the 17% sc pulley and leave the crank pulley alone...

I believe Tony*t3 has a 2 or 3% on Crank pulley on his Works. You might try asking him.

Cheers.

You might need to change few parts if the larger crank pulley cause problem in the long run but I guess you will need to change just the supercharger with 17/19% SC pulley. Safer I guess...

Hmmm 17%SC+0% Crank pulley= Good idea? No harm?

Question ???

what would be te pros on using an over driven crank pulley?

What is the difference on using a 15% + 2%, than using a 17% + 0 % ?

Does this 2% only applies to the SC? (I dont think so).

Thanks!

Memo.

Doesn't the GTT kit use a reduced SC pulley and oversized crank pulley?

Alot of people have been running this for a long time with no probs
