How do I get JCW power without buying the JCW Kit!?

Hi Guys,

If all go's according to plan I'm getting an S in the morning to replace my MC.

What would I need to do to get close to JCW figures without actually buying the works kit. e.g. mods for about £1000?

Not really worried about warranty as I've got a good relationship with my dealer and as long as the car doesn't blow up as a direct result of a mod I will be ok.

Thanks

Jase

Hi Jase

My suggestion would be to speak to Roland at GTT he has been mentioned many, many times on various threads with regards to his performance upgrades, I finally took my MCSC to him about 6 weeks ago to have the 220bhp package plus a few other goodies and can report that I am delighted with his work.
I recently attended the brilliant Cotswold III run, and was followed by a few different Works cars, and they all commented on how well my car performed !!

Give Roland a call, he is more than happy to chat to you and will suggest the best deal for (YOU) within your budget

Good luck and let me know how you get on

Gottta agree with miniboyblue, GTTuning.
Obviously we are biased , but for quality and bang/£ its pretty hard to beat IMHO.
Pulley+remap+filter would be a nice start.........and of course theres the ability to build on the bhp at a later (which you WILL do despite what you think now )
An alternative (based on good reviews here) would be West Tuning.

Borla exhaust, 15% pulley, BMG intake, 42,000 volts, 9mm wire set, one set hotter plugs, Michelin Sport 205-50-16 tires. Dyno'ed 211 HP cold Sept. 11, 2004.
Better than JCW from the factory and a whole lot less money. My Dealer did most of the work so there was no impact to the warantee.
There are lots of things you can do.
CapeCodMini put turbo piggybacked onto supercharger 300+/-. Plus he's crazy!
Happy motoring!!!

I went the BBR route- very pleased- my car has done about 18000 miles- 2000 with conversion and it goes and sounds better and better. Pricier than GTT though. Stupidly quick. Get the best tyres you can, and upgrade brake pads.

Try Greenlight insurance- they are great.
