jcw air filter - MINI Cooper Forum

I have just started fitting my new jcw air kit ( thanks Rakey) Does anyone know how to close the clips that BMW supply to tighten the rubber hoses onto the airfilter. Or is it just better to go and buy a couple of large screw tighten type circilps?

Use a set of Mull grips to pinch the clasp over, or a set of long nosed pliers, but these are more difficult. Brute force is the only way

I used long nosed pliers, brute force and removed a couple of layers of skin, worked a treat
