It's official, I signed the papers and gave a deposit today. ![]() My dealer says although all their slots have inquiries, I'm the only official one so far. So if anyone in the states is looking for a GP at MSRP, check my location and figure out the nearest dealer.

David prentice in northern ireland told my dad that they still had 2 left. But i asked my dealer and he said that he couldnt see this being the case because he got an allocation of 5 but he could have sold them 3 times over.

Specialist Cars have recently been on record as saying they are the "largest independent Mini dealership in the UK" whatever that means? As far as I'm aware they are the same as any other Mini dealership, their pricing being the same as any other dealer, when I bought my Cooper from them.

I used to indecisive but I’m no longer sure.... I only need two seats and still torn between JCW GP and new Mazda mx-5. Driven a JCW and the 1.8 and 2.0 Mazda. The 2.0 Mazda felt a bit woolly with the steering, but a great car for the price. The 1.8 felt more like the previous model but the engine has to be worked harder. I like the GP looks fab and matched with great performance. The big handle on the back and the lack of enclosed boot is a pain the **** as you can't leave anything out of sight. help!

Hello guys in some way, I'm in the same position of Rhysie and need some advice: - I followed all the "history" of the GP on Mini2 from january 2005 - I first saw the GP at its unvealing in Misano (Mini United) and liked it - I then saw the GP in Geneva, and liked it much more so I was almost convinced and spoke to my dealer to get one of his allocations. BUT... I just realized that with about the same amount of money I could get a Z4 (I could have some discount on a Z4, nearly no discount on the GP), possibly a 2.5i or a 2.0i (my dealer thinks that the 2.0i is a better value for money... )Honestly, I do like the Z4 from an aesthetic perspective, but I have never driven one, so I don't know anything about its behaviour on the road. What do you think about this? I'm not concerned about top speed or 1 sec. more or less of acceleration, but about its driving pleasure and fun. Surely, I don't want to get a boring car Do you think that a Z4 (2.0 or 2.5, not 3.0) could be comparable to a GP (or to a well equipped MCS) or am I insane to think to replace a MINI with a Z4?Decision, decision... ![]() Life is too short - Why drive a boring car?
