They're pre-production cars.

I have to say i'm starting to agree. Although how can the original poster of this photo (forgotton who it was now) claim that his friend works at the warehouse and that his friend has taken this photo and that the other 1998 cars are sitting around similar to these two.
Notice that this original poster hasn't posted since too?
Would it be possible for this poster to post some more pictures that he could get his friend to take of the other 1998 cars?
If this is not a photoshop or not pre-production cars and that you do indeed know a person who works their and they do have the 2000 cars then i'm sorry, its just at this moment in time i'm not buying it.
just my 2p.
cheers guys,
Sy.

No reason to doubt the original poster. He doesn't post much, but that's not a sign he's not genuine.

I don't know the point in it either other than to stir things up. That's motive enough for some....

Case in point: Declaring all 2000 cars are built and sitting in Munich.

We can debate the validity of the photo but we all know that is a bunch of crap.

05 WRX STi and 06 GSX-R600
MCS JCW GP on order.....

sorry its not 'a bunch of crap' - its a fact!
a very good friend of mine is working for the car transportation company who is responsible for the transportation of currently 1700 gp's from bertone to munich (garching).
he says that they're loading trucks with up to 30 gp's a day at plant bertone...

but the biggest surprise to me is that another gp-mate is gonna pick up his gp in 2 weeks at his dealer which would be 3 weeks ahead of sceduled 'releasedate' here in germany!

Took a look on that site MacMini, and saw someone posted these pics of a GP that was seen a couple of days ago at a show in Hochenheim - looks like all previous press pics, no evident changes to me, but good to see it getting an outing all the same
