.....that just suddenly reminded me of when my mate took his mums Metro out for a sneaky spin after he'd just passed his test. He did literally just that. Helmets should have been issued. |

| From a dealers point of view having one of these sitting in the showroom would be great for attracting people. Who cares if the GP is all sold out, as long as it helps attract passing trade they can always try to sell something else instead. When I bought a 106 Rallye the white cars were all sold out and I ended up having to have a blue one. Yet my dealer had a white one sat in the showroom (Borrowed off the customer in return for some incentives) simply because it pulled punters onto their site. |

| When I bought mine the dealers were not being allowed demo cars, everything was to specific customer order by name. (There was the special order form) Any demos would have had to have been bought and registered to a member of staff so any demos would have ended up being pre-owned. Maybe they relaxed that rule but even up to when they sold out my dealer could still not get one. Cheers Goonery, not too bad yourself |
