Yeah, I am soooooo disappointed. Based on the sketches and the fact that it might turn out to be a good deal for the money, I was thrilled to put down a deposit. Sadly disillusioned, I'm afraid. As, probably, the last of the line, it should have been the ultimate. Instead, it looks like the runt of the litter: the one no-one wanted to give a home. The side view is simply embarrassing! Perhaps they should have blacked out ALL the windows to save the driver's blushes. Aaaargh!

I can't get over that rear wing
It's all angular and just dosn't sit right on the overall curvy shape of the MINI.
The side skirts look so out of place

MINI, RX8 and MX5 - Done those............. It's now TTime

Have a peep at the MINI Targa entry on www.Mini.ca (the Canadian site) and you'll see the same style of rear spoiler. IMO, a Targa replica would have been a nicer car (with a historic reason behind it, too). I want to like the GP and I keep looking at the pics in the hope it will grow on me but, no, it still doesn't.

If someone said 'Hey look at my new Mini, its got a ricer body kit and an MDF rear wing', we'd send photos of it to 'Heap of the Month'.

It doesn't look like it belongs. Especially the rear wing. I think the front apron is an improvment over what we've already got, but the rest of it looks like it was designed by a 6 year old.

Actually, make that a 5 year old. So glad I haven't got a deposit on one.

Now if it was 150kgs lighter and 40bhp more powerful, I could forgive it.

I think it looks like an Essex Chav's chariot, and as it doesn't hav rear seats, ot looks like a van, and has the practicality of a van. And the colour sucks.

Yeah, but - otherwise - it's okay, is it?

well...after carefull revision of my earlier comment...ive decided the only things making me actually like it, are the alloys and the way the wing mirror covers match the calipers.

appologies for the early 'liking it' comment...i must have been half asleep.

The evidence is in.
Hush!
The jury is filing back.
And the verdict is...........
(dramatic music chord in background)....
Guilty!

Looks like - on current information - I'll be the only one on the waiting list

Nothing I've seen has made me change my mind. Counting down 'till I get my hands on one

Yay! About a year after they go on sale, I'll be able to pick one up really cheap at the dealership, just like the MC40.

I was all up for this at one point but i'm not getting it at all from these pictures. I will be undecided until I see one in the metal but I have to admit to being dissappointed (sp!) by what was supposed to be a really cool car. Money stayin in pocket me thinks (well hand that signs finance agreements anyway )
