The Clio 172 Cup is exactly the kind of reduction that would be the best. As people say, no AC, no Xenons, Lighter seats, Lighter engine trim (throw away battery case etc.), possibly a special edition lightweight paint aswell.

Lightweight body panels is an expensive business but BMW have done it before so they may do it.

That would be confusing as there's already a Club Sport model, which is the JCW race spec Cooper's.
