It wouldn't cost very much to do the change, good benefits from the added cooling, and little for them to worry about as far as warranty? Sounds good to me!

maybe it might have a larger intercooler to help cool it

I've booked my flight, hotel and motor show tickets last Saturday. I'm going on 6th March for two days. Can't wait to see my next new car!

GP on the road..... photos...

Gabe over on Motoringfile.com has posted a link to a GP caught out on the road testing. Now if it was available in that colour I'd have it...

Certailnly less of a dog in these photos
Side skirts still look a bit naff (but less so)
Bigger air scoop please
These (2nd generation) standard JCW wheels look better than the show ones
It's actually begining to stimulate "desire"-which I never thought it would

I'd still rather have an R32 though!

Put direct links to the site with the photos, to save click-click-clicking....

Doesn't look too different, aside from the colour.

You can see the rear brake like where the wiper is usually too.

Am I still the only one who likes the look of the wheels?

Looks like the 3rd brake light is at the bottom of the rear window,

I actually quite like the wheels too, but would have to see them 'in the flesh' to really decide.

The GP looks much more 'cohesive' in the all black. I think it would sell well in this colour - perhaps with just a few red highlights. (brakes, wing mirrors, A Team stripe... )

The wheels in those pics are the new polished JCW's which work really well IMO... The colour works well to... all black... very pure... no frills... just what's a stripped out racer should be like

still not keen on the rear bumper or side skirts though

A Team stripe would work with that spoiler wouldn't they.

I love the wheels. They will be off on a track day though.

Have to say it looks much nicer in black, you could almost get away with that spoiler in that colour. Front bumper still looks pants though.
