After reading this thread over, again, I'm not saying what might go on my GP. It will have to come home to me first, get acclimated, then we'll see what fits!

Didn't want thread to go cold.

Have read most of the magazine road tests and been to see the GP, in the flesh, at the Motor Show.

Why didn't they make the sills and front bumper look part of the body kit, for goodness sake? Surely they could have had the black edges painted on, like the BMW Aero Kit (which is so much better) has?

Missed opportunity, big style. What happened to the much vaunted carbon fibre roof/bonnet? Not to mention 235bhp?

I am very happy for anyone who has bought a GP and wish them huge enjoyment and loads of happy MINI adventures. Anyone, who has bought one to sell on and speculate, hope you lose money.

As a personal thing, definitely did the right thing, may not be as fast, in a straight line, or around corners - but when and where can I use that? and my car looks sooooo much better!

UNLESS YOU LIVE LIFE ON THE EDGE, YOU ARE TAKING UP TOO MUCH SPACE

I would remove the daft red mirror caps and the chav body kit too.

and replace them with a nice bmw aero kit and mirror caps in the same colour as the car.

Just my 2pence worth

neil...

GOt to admit, i think the leather dash is minging - would much prefer body coloured or even Carbon fibre if I was modding a GP...

Ive got xenons at home along with the JCW carbon mirror caps. The alarm, glove box lid, ipod interface are getting fitted to the car when it comes to the dealer in september. The last thing is to sort out some colour coding of arches & rear bumper trim.
Them it will be perfecto.

RED stripe !

Any photoshop experts out there?

How about a big, fat, wide, Chile RED single (or maybe double Shelby style) stripe(s) right down the bonnet, from the scoop, over the top, and down the boot and valence. ? OMG - that could be "over the top", as it were. I can't help it - I get these weird ideas way too often.

I think that if you are doing it in vinyl, nothing is over the top. I had talked to one of the graphics installers about meeting the MTTS people in Arizona to do graphics installs for the MTTS members. At that time he was pleased, and said he could do it. He is busy with MITM right now, will check to see if the timeframes clash.

Might look odd next to the scoop, but there was this fat one at the motorshow, not red though... can anyone photoshop it?
