Maybe Thunder Blue is really purple haze after being left in the sun too long?

That's odd because usually that dealer seemed to know what's going on and when I talked to them three weeks ago, they said they were sold out, had a waiting list, and were selling them at MSRP.

Maybe someone should start a thread with peoples names and GP number so we can see how many there are going to be here on Mini2.

I will trade with you Jim. I am just going not so quietly crazy.

Too paranoid. No one has seen this car, no press has driven one, and all cars get released in one big dump to the buyers who have not even been given final specs. This could be the biggest corporate joke ever pulled off.

"Trust us, you'll love it" could be the biggest thing since "Where's the beef"?

GP Numbers

I'll start a thread with the GP numbers. People can just reply with their info and I'll edit the first post. I've been checking the forums every few hours it seems for the last few weeks since ordering one so I should be able to keep up on it. Just trying to take the initiative here cause it sounded like a good idea but if someone has a better plan, do tell.

By the way, it has seemed a sizable chunk of the activity in the Cooper S forum has been GP discussion.....has a GP-specific thread been discussed? It'd be nice to have at least through the fall when we finally have our cars and the gabbing slows down. Moreover, we could quit annoying the anti-GP folk and vice-versa (though that has seemed to calm down as of late.) Just a thought.....
