The $2000 dollars you have paid, what exactly do you get for the money?

I think the $2,000 package is a good deal, it is the main reason that I signed up for the GP. When the deadline came and went, with only 8 people having taken the Monterey delivery option, that seemed to make the ceremony seem a little hollow. It appears that extending the deadline indefinitely has allowed more buyers to sign up. It seems to me that the more people there, the more fun it will be.

Must apologise to the GP community for going a little crazy while selling my Flame MINI. That MCSa was the most fun, and best car I have ever owned. Chicks really dug it. Now the Flame is gone, headed to his new home, and I have a mean time without a MINI to get used to.

I am looking forward to seeing the GP in the flesh, and getting to know it. Solved the garage entry problem by scheduling a move to a house with a smoother driveway and level garage entrance.

You're moving (from the swamp) just to get the GP into the garage! I'm impressed. A true MINI lover. Does Aprilwhine know?

I arranged utility changeover today.

It's a move that has been in the planning stages for a while now. Moving from the swamp to the desert.

So, when you pick up the GP, the "last stop" is LV? Pulling up stakes early in VA?
How exciting (and very sunny, too.)

We're going to have a bit of a layover in Vegas, but won't be totally moved till end of the year. Then we'll either drive quickly and catch up, or fly ahead and meet up with my MCSC for the trip into Lime Rock.

Las Vegas, trying to convince my brother to get married there.......

Never travelled outside of the UK, almost went to India last year with work.
Vegas is right at the top of the list for my first foreign holiday.

Hoping Junior will go for the wedding suggestion so we can kill two birds with one stone.
(He was coming around to the idea, something to do with getting the chance to wear an Elvis jumpsuit.... )

Joogle, if it's after we've moved, you'll have to let Jim and me drive you down the Strip in my MCSC.

Wondered if anyone had started looking for insurance quotes yet? I have to renew for my MCSC this month, so will see if they have it on their systems yet.

Aprilwhine,
Any info from your dealer yet on car number, or ...............anything?

No word from mine. Watch, they'll want all kinds of forms signed when I'm in England next week.

No info yet. We dropped by our dealer Friday around lunch time, and they asked if we knew anything.
