Any one know when those of us who didn't participate in the MTTS Monterey GP delivery can expect to see GPs at our local dealerships? I hear September, but then I hear late October and possibly even November! Is there a way to check for the manifest on the Mini website to see if the cars are actually in transit via ship yet?

Can you tell I am anxious!?!

Go to Cargo Tracking

and click on Auto Cargo. Enter the VIN for your GP and you can see if it's in their system

It seems the remainder of USA GPs will be built around now to the end of month. Shipping (from Germany) will likely be two weeks to east coast and at least a week longer to west coast. If I was waiting I wouldn't expect them to hit west coast dealerships till the end of October.

Charlie gives the best option - but this will work for you only (a) if you know the VIN, (b) the car is built and ready to ship or shipping and (c) WW are doing the shipping.

I went to look to see if my GP was in the dealers today. and their she was . i cant believe how good it looks . it was parked next to a cooper s now i love my cooper s. but when side by side the GP looks so mean! roof number 1528. i pick it up on Tuesday 10. 30am . really looking forward to it!

I got a phone call this afternoon to tell me that mine has arrived at dealer. I called over after work for a look at it, they had already got it in the workshop pdi'd & plates on they are putting alarm on in the morning, it looks ace can't wait to pick it up on thursday morning.

The car has 6 miles on it but iam unsure if it has been for the test run yet as the battery was on charge. Iam collecting on thursday cause iam getting 7 days insurance from 21 sept which takes me up to my renewal date on my current policy 28 sept + the my cash doesnt go in to bank untill over night on the 20 sept.
Plus ive waited 6 months a few more days wont hurt

P.S I waited (if you want:only)2 months for my car; And it was ready for collection 3 days before I was able to collect (also had to wait for funds and a cover note) And I can tell you, Those three days HURT!
