Good news... sort of.

Today my dealer called to tell me that my GP is now showing up on the BMW build system.

It is still down for a July build as I was first told but I won't be taking delivery until August 18th.

I also asked about GP No.'s but no news as yet.

I hope Fuzzy gets his number on Monday, I think that is when specs and production numbers will be released.

Well my number hasn't yet been released but delivery looks like it's September now.

Since my Works still hasn't been sold, I thinking of picking it up and trying to sell it again nearer the time. Whilst I may take a bigger hit in depreciation, I just can't go the whole summer without a Mini.

I know what you mean, I am already in withdrawal from putting the tintop in the garage, awaiting his new owner.

Arrrgg, now I am a Jeep driver. Yuck.

Hey Monterey hopefuls - we can stop worrying about "getting in". I won't divuldge the number I heard but as of a couple of days ago there was still PLENTY of slots open in Monterey.

I'm predicting that some of the remaining slots will be filled by the end of tomorrow, the deadline for application, but I'm also predicting that there will be fewer that 45 of us in Monterey come August. I hope I'm wrong but I'll have more details *next* Sunday, May 21st on whiteroofradio.
