I think that was the earlier 'misinformation' that seemed to be doing the rounds.... also there were some knowing hints that 218bhp would be a very conservative output.... as in nudge nudge wink wink say no more... Seems the ECU reprogramme has been the route - with a higher redline.
Will be interesting to see the new torque/bhp power graph, see where the car makes its best torque - as a road car needs better torque than headline bhp anyway....

But they did make it as a lightweight () CSL type of machine (at least, that what it was intended to be), so I assume they would have built it more as a track machine?
