Underneath of the GP Works

The attached thumbnail shows the underneath of the GP Works, also attached is a picture of our own MCS Works with the GP, showing just how different they look together!

How long before somebody markets these black undertrays for the normal MINI I wonder?

One thing of interest was that the jacking blocks that are attached to the current MINI (those 2 black squares of plastic on each side of the car) are not attached to the GP, but are in fact removeable, bright orange and live in the boot!

Also, talking to the techinician at the MINI dealer, the aluminium rear suspension wasn't designed exclusively for the GP, but is in fact standard on the 2G MINI!

Anyway, best of luck to the owner of this car 0506 as they were taking delivery of it the next morning.

Mark

Talking Underneath the beast....

I was under the car whilst the technician did the PDi check and the first thing he spotted was that the CAT sensor wasn't done up!

Is this down to the cars being built by Bertone in Italy and not to the quality of Cowley I wonder?

It must therefore make them worth less!

Wanted GP Works with delivery mileage, will pay £15k Max!!!!

Why when you can get them from MINI?
(If they are not enforcing the VIN requirements...... )
(And they have a sky high price........ )

Damn, answered my own question..........
