16" and JCW Brakes

Is there an OEM 16" wheel that can be ordered with the JCW kit on the 2006 MCS? I would like a 16" wheel and am being told that I can only order 17" with the JCW option!! I really want the white painted 16" approach......

But they're not approved because they don't provide sufficient ventilation.

The R94 is currently the only approved 16" wheel:

They were fitted by the dealer, not on my MINI but another club members car so dont know anything about whats approved or not. Guess its another one of those things that depends what your dealer is like

[left]Here's a brief rundown...

John Cooper Works 18” alloy wheels
- Original MINI 17” alloy wheels
- Original MINI 16” Bridge Spoke alloy wheel (16”x6.5” IS48 Styling R94)
- Original MINI 16” Double Spoke alloy wheel (16”x5.5” IS45 Styling R87)
- 15” Steel emergency wheel for the rear axle only (15”x3.5B IS35)

Actually I just order the R87's and JCW breaks here in the States for my MC. Not the most stylish I will admit, but it suits my needs.

We run the X-lites on the GP. My car, my approval is all that is needed.
