United-Kingdom Mini GP Knocking

Hi all you GP lovers,

Had my baby for about a month now. I cant keep anything standard. Changed the bonnet scoop, mirror covers, rear tailgate, interior handbrake, gear knob, and rings all to the JCW carbon fibre products. Looks awesome. I also managed to get my paws on a set of carbon fibre door scoops. You know when you open the door that little scoop is now carbon fibre. I have also ordered from my dealer JCW leather down tubes and a leather dash with red stitching. Cant wait. The obsession keeps growing and cant stop spending.

Anyway, i have noticed that sometimes when i drive i hear this knocking sound coming from the rear. It appears only when i apply the brakes and not all the time. When i was driving the other night i heard this huge bang from the left. Sounded like inside the car but who knows as theres no sound deadening material. I stopped and checked but couldnt find anything.

Anybody had anything similar to me??

Later

GK

MIne knocks, my last one did this and it was something to do with a clip on the brakes.

Its a very difficult job and the only way to get through it is we all work together as a team.....

I will tell dealer tomorrow to have a look at it when it has its new carpet & insulatoin replacing.
It sounds like the pads are loose in the calipers so when you brake they move a little hense making a noise. Made louder cause no rear seats.
