Me too, Mikey - if the kit can work with USA cars (different auto levelling? different beam throw)

I put the xenon lights in mine but they only worked once then they woulnt work again so i took them back out i dont think they work with the the lights module. Nothing wrong with the lamps as ive now sold them and the work fine in his car (he already had xenons but old style).

Has anyone installed the HID Xenon 8500k replacement headlamps. I am wondering if they are worth anything. I have seen them all over ebay, they are only 12.99... did not know if anyone has. If you want to check them out they are EuroDezign HID Xenon... let me know what you all think

I've been GP'd

Its a very difficult job and the only way to get through it is we all work together as a team.....

I've asked Mikey to ship some to me; when they arrive I'll set up the camera properly and try to get some before/after pics ...

I put in 4 PIAA H7 bulbs and it is a beautiful thing!
Lights up the road in front of me pretty darn good! I am trying to out-drive them, but have not been able to yet!

Can't wait to see the differance I would like to have a little more light. I had gotten use to the Xenons in the wifes PW/B JCW but the GP leaves you wanting more light.

I suppose you could say that we are waiting on the all clear from The Doc then!

I have to say that I'm mighty impressed with your commitment, and your Range Rover Sport!

Noticed a set of non-facelift xenons on ebay starting at £149. Facelift version looks miles better, do you have a supplier for these or are you getting them from your dealer?

Hi,

"I suppose you could say that we are waiting on the all clear from The Doc then! "

Loool

"I have to say that I'm mighty impressed with your commitment, and your Range Rover Sport!"

Cool - I wont let the side down - its not in my nature to be defeated - by a car

Thanks about the RRS - I've only had him 3 weeks but like him a lot!

I have a supplier in Bolton - I'll get my second unit then gladly reveal my source!

- You can count on me to finish this job off -

Looking forward to hearing the full story. I'd love to be able to swap the xenons from my '05 MCS into my GP.

I've been doing a little background work into the installing of xenons, specifically the issue of getting them to reset/reprogram your car to accept xenons. I've spoke with the mini dealer in Glasgow (Henry Bros) and they've said that they are not willing to change the setup of the car from the manufacturers spec. So they wouldn't do this.

Does anyone know of a dealer that can do this? (preferably in Glasgow)

Doc - Did you get any problems when you asked your dealer?

Just found a company who will fit the xenons (facelift) with washers (he laughed at the fact I said it's a tought job!)

He's going to find out about the suspension/auto levelling bit... he has the parts in stock and said it'll be a synch to fit, but wants to find out re MOT etc...

He's going to be in touch tomorrow - will keep you guys informed.

I was searching for xenons for ages, and gave up - think most of us do - but this might be a good source.

Will keep you posted.

Jay
