| I'm still excited about the potential of being able to do this. The GP would be sooooo much nicer for nighttime driving if the MINI xenon headlamps could be installed in place of the stockers. '06 GP / '05 Corvette Z51 Coupe |

| The latest on my retro-fit facelift xenons... Just had a call from my potential supplier - they are confident that they can fit the face-lift xenons. They have spoken with BMW and conf that the car needs to have sensors in the suspension otherwise it will fail the MOT. They have also said that you cannot simply stick the xenons in as the wiring on the halogens is far too thin... although it may work for a time, it could be a serious fire risk - so please be careful if you do go down this route. Looking for a January fitting; will keep you all posted (if you're interested!) Jay |

| "They have spoken with BMW and conf that the car needs to have sensors in the suspension otherwise it will fail the MOT." No, they wont - there is no part of the MOT that requires DYNAMIC LEVELING - it simply states good pattern and not to high... "They have also said that you cannot simply stick the xenons in as the wiring on the halogens is far too thin... although it may work for a time, it could be a serious fire risk - so please be careful if you do go down this route." B/S Xenons pull a far LOWER current when running. Tell your mini man to go back to school - they just talk crap sometimes Any idea of price please?
