Should point out that 80 watt bulbs are for track day use only and not road legal. I also wonder if they might harm the Mini wiring loom and the warranty! However, I would definitely recommend the Osram Silver Star bulbs (50% more light on the road), made all the difference on my 2002 Cooper compared to the original bulbs.

i have had them fitted for 3 weeks with no probs. they may say track use only but i have not been flashed once .so they are just right for road use.but they are still not as bright as xeons they are better than osram silver! i have tried them and took them back and got the blue 80watts give it a go you will see what i mean. you will see the light

I'm changing out the low and high beams in my GP with the PIAA H7 Xtreme white plus bulbs. I hope they help. Of course, I know they won't be as good as the Xenon in my '05 MCS.
