The King of Minis ?

The real GP have red mirror covers and a GP body colored grill, I cant see the point of buying a limited edition mini. (future classic) and making it look like something else, whats next change the wheels ? why not just buy a works s ?

Sorry to be stupid Hobbe, but what's the mod in the first pic? Is it a carbon fibre scoop?

Nothing wrong with a bit of personalisation (is that a word!? ) is there?...

After-all it is a MINI!!

I 'personally' would like to keep my GP as is, yes even the-- ("why have you got red-mirrors on your car?!")-- caps, as long as it's all reversible, It's fine, and I can't see there being a problem.

The red mirrors are one of my favorite features! I'm even thinking about adding a few more red bits to my GP to continue the theme (reversable of course). But those CF caps look good too--I agree, it's cool to exercise your individual taste!

Me Too! (continue red theme); I want to get a 'red-line' (like they do on Motor-Bikes) around the inner edge of my tires; but I don't know how to go about doing it?! I think that would look cool!

Kalle,
The grill.

Why the change ?
I'm sure the GP is fab for the most if not all owners as is, but this one is mine, and I don't personally like the red mirror covers.
Individuality - something very much associated with the MINI brand.
To add to the pain: This one will spend most of its time on the track since racing is part of my life so expect some additional (non-bling) modifications such as a second set of rims, racing tires/tyres, harness, cage, and upgraded brakes (pads, stainless steel hoses, brake fluid).

Why not Works only ?
Been there done that.

Why the GP then ?
Because it's the perfect MINI. BMW has done almost everything right.
I'm just adding the things needed for track use.
...and taking care of some minor design issues while at it. After all - we all want to look pretty
