I'd stick with the GP wheels; not that expensive and you maintain the look. .......Saying that though; it's not like you're getting rid of the 'old' ones; so It might be nice to have a different set for your track days; I'd go for the OZ 35th's Personally; you keep the silver/black theme and they look amaizing. I take it you have abandoned the All black R105' Idea?

If it's just for track I'd go for the Ozz.Cheaper and lighter. Plus GP wheels only come in 18's, I'd not have bigger than 17" for track use, I'd may even go for 16".

eventhough i have ultralegerra on my s and yes they have improved handling, acceleration and braking because they are alot lighter than stock 17s [about 3 kilos lighter per wheel] i believe the GP is a unique custom mini and therefore you should stick with the stock look. GEORGE

TD Pro Race 1's im 17" will suit the car nicely, will fit over the brakes and can be had very cheaply if you shop around, they look fine as a day to day wheel on the GP too I reckon. Saving up pennies here for a set with Toyo Proxes on

If they wil be used for the track then get track wheels. GP wheels are big, heavy and tbh won't give you the best in terms of peformance or handling on the track...plus RF tyres suck and get burned off very very fast under hard use (fun though cos they go off quick and its like driving on ice, so lots of rear end slide and understeer to play with )I'd suggest something cheaper like the Team Dynamics Po Race 1.2s as these will fit straight on, are available in black and are far lighter and will be much better for handling in 17" or 16" form than the GPs. Selling these on after won't be an issue either as they are a good wheel and easy to get refurbed if they are spare track wheels. R

That would be my choice too pro race 1's in black, tho I would go for a set of avons or yokohama's RE32, the road legal track tires that they do. Or if money was no object OZ superleggera's. Lighter and cost effective. And 17's will handle better. R105'S are heavier than the GP rims, and they dont like brake dust and dirt on them! And its a waste buying black ones, far too expensive a wheel to get in black. You dont notice the design of black wheels that much and they've quite a narrow offset so handling wont improve. Not a wheel for track days. ![]()

The pro race 1's in black are but i think i'll go for the OZ's, i just need a photoshop of them in black or even antracite to confirm things. The prob is that they dont come in black so they'll have to be sprayed in black but lohen said that shouldne be a problem.................................>waiting for Damo ![]() other problem is what tyre to get, i wanted michelin ps2 but they dont have any 205 or 215 in 17's, also wanted pzero rosso's but they only do 205/50/17.
