Just saw this on ebay, not sure if it is one of the many scams though...

A GP was registered to Rooney, at Prestons in Colne, but he never drove it or even collected it, they just sold it on as he changed his mind

Hey guys. Was browsing tinternet the other day and was on eBay trying to look for parts etc, and came accross GP1711.

It says it was once owned by Wayne Rooney!! (there's a pic of the ownership slip to prove it). Anyone reckon it is actually the big Roo's?

the garage i got mine from had 2, when i bought mine, he had gary neville(man utd player on the phone buying the other one (cant remember the roof number/ 11_ _ ?) when i went to pick it up the next week, he said that a fellow team had been on the phone trying to buy the one i bought, and the lovely English fella tried to gazump me

it was a private garage in stirling scotland, hey it was the English that made the gazump word e/g to outbid/undercut/ sneak off we the goods/undermine the buyer, good job the seller was scottish and stuck to his word with me

Update to thi thread is the thread with the photo pf Wayne Rooneys house with what appears to be a GP still parked up outside it.


Therefore, I would suggest that any other 'GP' that purports to be owned by Wayne Rooney is probably a fake. most likely registered in his name by a dealer to try to sell it a 'car of the famous'.
