Alarm Fitted to GP

I only picked up my GP 2 weeks ago and to my suprise there was no alarm fitted. I know it was done to save weight but how heavy is a alarm system??

I had one fitted yesterday for only £250, its CAT 1 and uses the org key gob.

The guy did a great job fitting it and Im very pleased, I can sleep easy at night knowing if anyone is messing with my car the alarm will go off.
