I'd say £10 JCW chips on eBay are probably a scam. Best to stay clear of those ones.

All the best,
Andrew.

Simple answer DO NOT DO IT

If you want more power in your JCW do a search on here / look in the first Gen tuning section there is a mountain of info.

Pulley 15% or 17%
Plugs
Intercooler
Manifold
Custom Tune to align your map with your mod status

Do not go down the generic chip route

Again it is a generic chip and some folks have had problems on the S.

There is good feeback on superchips on MINI 1 and Cooper but not on the S.

Why do you want to chip the car - better gains will be made from following my simple advice above.

I looked in to what you have surgested. But its to involed for me. Plus with the pully you need to replace every 10'000 miles and I do about 14'000 a year?
