Dirty Works Supercharger

Any hints on how to remove the tar-like mess which seems to like smearing itself all over the Works badge on my supercharger?! It looks ingrained... and not very pretty even though it is under the bonnet. I think it's from rubbing against the underside of the bonnet..

Anyone?!

Thanks!

I have the same problem and use a bit of polish to remove it -- but its only temporary and returns within a couple of weeks or so

Still gets it clean in the short term, just another little chore to keep on top of
