My girlfriend and I just got our new Indi Blue 2003 MINI Cooper which we named Howard. We live in downtown Orlando, about a 1/2 mile from Downtown MINI. We're looking forward to the next MINI event in Central Florida (hopefully not while I'm in Amsterdam/Germany in late May).

How about a MINI meet or drive event in Daytona Beach?

I was there last weekend with my wife and we had a blast driving our Cooper CVT in the beautiful beach. A total showstopper!

We have had an even in Daytona before. Its was lots of fun. Have you heard of 'the loop'? I am from Daytona, and know a lot about the area.

We stayed in Ormond Beach but drove in the 6 mile beach stretch a few times in the afternoon when the tide was low.

I only saw 2 MINIs upthere....a LY/B Cooper and a DS/W MCS.

Yeah I like the idea of doing a weekend get together in Daytona. I'll let you guys now about my availability as I have just started a new job.

Any other fun suggestions around the immediate area? How about a drive thru St. Augustine?

Hi all! Tampa here! (aka minimad) I've been sans Cooper since a 2/26 accident put her in the body shop. I hope to get her back tomorrow or Wednesday. I can't wait! I REALLY miss that car!

Daytona Beach!

I may have seen cooper4us around... I've definitely seen a LY/LY MCS, a LY/W MC and a couple of others. I've seen a PW/B twice!

I drive around quite a lot - in Ormond Beach and the Loop too!
