Well i've had my MCS since Dec, i've only meet acouple of MCS owners down here in miami.Heres the link of my car, please tell me what you think. http://importspeed-south.com/forum/v...t=2334&start=0

The car is a project car for our site. Were trying to get the car at 300hp @ the crank.

Well, there is soon to be another Miami MCS owner. I just spec'd mine out a week ago. Can't wait until August now.

There still a waiting list on the MCS. I thought that south motors had like 60 of them in stock? Finally another Mini owner!

They had like 60 there when I went too, but not a single EB/W with all three packages and the Nav System. I know, the Chilli package in Miami seems an odd thing, but I am considering an out-of-state move right now, and wanted to be prepared. So, I have to wait 6-8 weeks now to have my MCS. Seriously kicking the JCW idea around right now too. Just can't decide.

BTW, your car looks Niiiccce. I read that you had the bonnet stripes, but removed them. Why? I am also curious as to what you guys have done to your MCS to push up the hp.

Well i didnt like the stripes (duno just not a fan of them) We curenty are sponsered by Magnaflow.There new Titanium Exhust system is making a 16hp jump and 18 more lbs or torq. Were working on the new V2 AEM intake for the car, and also working on Super Sprint header. Wheels are yet to be determind, but some nice 18's should be in soon. Breaks are going to be some short of 14' big breaks. The car will also be going underconstruction for a pully so we can get full 20psi of boost for the S/C. The car will be at Miami's Auto Cross next sunday (6/29/03) in Miami Metro Zoo. Its free to see and like $45 to run, I'll be running it out there.Theres more to come to the car and we hope to get it all done by Aug!

I currently have a new 2004 MCS on order from Lauderdale MINI. Although I live in Miami, I avoid the local MINI dealerships like the plague......

We also have a 2002 Cooper CVT which is a keeper. We meet on Thursday nights at Kendall Dr (SW 88st) and SW 127 Avenue from 8:30PM onwards. There are classic Mini and MINI owners in attendance every week. Don't miss it!

i think we ended up canceling the autox on the 29th but i don't remember seeing you at any of the Autox's in July. You planning on coming out to the AutoX this Sunday the 27th?

Yeah, sorry for this late post, but i did go to the Auto X, but only once.

***UPDATE***
I did slap on this awsome Magnaflow Exhust on the car, we dynoed the car factory @ 142Hp, and then with the exhust we jumped up to 162hp. The exhust is awsome, i wil lhave some pics up soon, and it will be coming out in the Nov issue of HCI magazine.
