We are planning a meet in Orlando. Will be going to Islands of Adventure park on Saturday, staying at the Holiday Inn and having a meet Sunday in the parking lot of Holiday Inn and TGI Friday's.

Saturday August 2nd - Islands of Adventure

Sunday August 3rd - Holiday Inn Hotel

Sounds good, Orlando is a great place for a gathering, I attended a MINI/BMW gathering at Race Rock not too long ago.

If you make your reservations at the Holiday Inn 21 days in advance you will get the $49 rate. So, if you plan on going...make that reservation!

I know the meet is in August... I just wrote "See you Sunday" to indicate that we wouldn't make it to the Park on Saturday, but would be there the following day for the meet and lunch. I guess I could have been more explicit.

While it's true that I killed a few brain cells back in college (only the weak ones), I'm not THAT bad...

Finaly, an Orlando one. Anyway I have not been in the scene due to personal constraints, but I will be there on Sunday. with my SILVER "S" and show you my 200 BHP Mini, Yes you read it 200 BHP.

Mini-Madness intake, ECU mod(RENNTech/EVOTech) and Exhaust(London Stainless Steel), I have the pulley but not the DINERO to install

. Over 26 k and getting 30 to 31 mpg @ speeds of 75 to 80 mph and A/C on!!. CANT beat that

Hey, I might even show up Saturday to take my kids there for the park. See you there amigos.

If your're not going to the park Saturday you can meet at 10:00am on Sunday at the TGIF parkling lot next to the Holiday Inn.

Glad you are going to join us "Silver S". It should be a lot of fun. Can't wait to see your Fast MINI.

RECAP:
Saturday (Aug. 2) we are going to the park first thing in the morning and leaving around 6pm. We will be going to City Walk at 7:30pm to dance, drink, and party!
Then Sunday (Aug. 3) we will be meeting at 10am for the MINI Meet and eating lunch (optional) at TGI Friday's.

Did I mention that there is a meet in Orlando this weekend. No? Okay, well there is a meet in Orlando this weekend consisting of going to Islands of Adventure Theme Park on Saturday August 2 and having a car/lunch meet starting at 10am on Sunday August 3 in the Holiday Inn/Friday's parking lot (across from Universal).

It was the successful first meet for MINIs of Orlando. We had a great turnout of MINIs, including two beautiful yellow classic Minis. (Are you guys on here?) We got to meet Paul and Judith and their son visiting from England.

The next meet for MINIs of Orlando is Sunday, August 24th when we will Motor the Mouse. We will meet for lunch at Jungle Jim's, then motor around Disney World and Celebration. More details soon.
