Well, It would be an ideal time to change, the Minx would be 2.5 years old then......

I am on the list for the first customer car at my dealer

The new interior looks fab.... but its very much love or hate!

It has got definite BMW styling cues in it, the centre speedo is much bigger, and the dash inserts are very BMW Z4!

well production of the current S ends in march so they can refit the factory then the new twin turbo scroll engined bad boys will start rolling off.... (these will be the same instant power as superchargers thx to new technology (the scroll exhuasts))

this is planned for the end of next yr so hopes up the rest will follow soon (JCW etc )

End of this year

And production is continuing well after March! As Plant Oxford only has one assembly line, it is evry flexible, and extremely easy to introduce new models. Downtime for the line will be limited.

The tuning capabilities will be limited im sure. Doubt we'll be seeing a 300+ bhp conversion. Well not without fracturing the block anyway......

Will certainly be interesting to test drive the twin scroll turbo's. Turbo lag is always a performance nightmare but this certainly made a massive difference.

You're right there! The new lightweight all aluminium blocks will not be able to handle as much power as our current 'hewn from solid granite' Tritec engines! I'd expect 250hp to be their limit.

But then, the car will be lighter, so shouldn't be a problem!
