I love my MCSCa, with just over 10K miles in a year and several months ( I bike a lot ). A couple of suggestions I would have:

1. give the option of removing the rear seats to fit more stuff through the trunk. I'm 6'2", so my seat is almost all the way back and no one could ever fit in the back seat anyway. With the wind screen in for half the year its not a possibility anyway. Would be nice to find a way to use that space...
2. on all models, how about some good old fashioned intermittent wipers - not the auto rain sesning ones, just ones with say 5-7 manual settings like everyone else has... Maybe the new model has this?
3. I'd love a hybrid version, that got 50 mpg US. My wife's car is a Ford Escape hybrid which is avg 36 mpg and its a bloody SUV! Puts my mini to shame, which on a good week gets 26mpg. No reason why in late 2008 most cars don't have at least a hybrid option IMHO. Looking back my only blunder on the order was getting the S, should have gotten just the MCCa. Sounds like the new models are better powered though in base version.
4. The lighting mods looked cool above!
5. I have the upgraded stereo and it doesn't have speed sensitive volume - what is up with that? I love the steering wheel controls for the stereo, just get sick of raising the volume when on the highway, and lowering it in the city. No need to do this in 2008!!!

Everthing else is just poifect. The ONLY reason I would upgrade my car to the new model would be for better gas mileage. By the sounds of it though it doesn't look like a hybrid is in the works, and the new MCSa's are getting maybe only 4 mpg better than my car at best. Looks like I'll be keeping my car for a long time, which is fine with me!

Happy motoring,

Frank
