Cheers Mark

Since I've been driving a Cool Blue cabrio since July 2004, I guess I've answered your question

By the way, what's your issue with Europeans? You are probably one too??? Then again, I see you come from Essex......

The current Cabrio will be stopping production in July

We already now the MINI John Cooper Works is out this year, I'd expect the Cabrio to (most likely) go with the facelift, late in 2009.

So no new Cabrios from July to sometime next year (I suppose they'll probably build a final run of stock to tide them over). I wodner when the best time to put mine on the market might be......

And I guess the JCW is this year's new model, the Cabrio for 2009 and then the made-in-Austria SAV (Crossman/Crosslander/Croissant?) in 2010? That'll keep the dealers happy for a while, I suppose.

BTW - saw something in AutoExpress - it seems that the old Tritec engine (still in the Cabrio of course) is being used in a new-build Chinese car that is based on the old Citroen ZX - sounds bizarre, but it's in AE so it must be true - right? )
