Offline | ![]() I very much doubt it! Why junk their R56? It's a fantastic car that is even more technologically/environmentally sound than the supercharged version and they obviously weren't even in the market for a soft-top or the'd wait for the R57. If they really-really missed the supercharger I'd imagine they'd try and get their hands on a low milage end-of-the-line R53 S but you'd think they'd have wieghed up the pro's and cons when they bought their R56 S!? ![]() |

Offline | PDC is for reversing, roll bars are for style and saftey , i think i'd prefer them to be there from an aesthics viewpoint, and being a parent the flip up roll bar aspect concerns me a fair bit.Ian, why the unhappy face, april 2009 is only 12 months away, and if it came a few months early you would'nt be able to use the roof anyhow . April is perfect timing for a cabrio, the weathers ust improving and you'll still be one of if not the first guy in Luxembourg with one ![]() flor15t, it is a shame what you said, we're probably gonna end up with an r57 next but not till we really want one, To buy a car that doesnt excite is a waste especialy a MINI ![]() ![]() JCW Sound Kit on order........ |

| What mid-life crisis? | Thanks Streeters! Well, I placed my order on 23rd August 2006, so I'm getting a bit impatient already! And the longer I stay with my current one (the first first-generation Cabrio in Luxembourg !), the more nervous I get about the roof and fabric wear......... ![]() I had really hoped to have a new Cabrio by September this year, so it's getting further and furhter away. And you are wrong about not being able to use the roof down until April - if it's dry but cold, then I'm happy! Roof down at minus 8 degrees was no problem... ![]() And there's always that risk that another manufacturer will come along with something else in the meantime that turns my head...... Decisions, decisions..... Ian |

Offline | Only one year away and we don't have any interior spy photos yet ! I'm as anxious as anyone to see this update and hoping that BMW fixes the center stack and radio controls that look like they were designed by Picaso. I miss my '05 BRG MINI!! |
