how about it ? someone I know and trust says they saw a mini with a rear diff unit !

I've heard from a dealer about a 4WD mule running around but not a lot else ?

i really dont think so, i talked to my dealer about the 4wd MINI, they said not likely. But maybe a rear drive variant, that would be fun.

I think the Alpina MINI was supposed to be 4WD, but i suppose it doesn't matter any more since it got scrapped

The alpina was a 1.8 rather than 1.6 not 4wd. The 4wd mule I heard about was MINI's own. Not sure if this was on a new platform or not ?
