Well, it does until you see the original photo below. Just create a mirror image, and do a little Photoshop magic by stretching the wheelbase and removing the rear of the car, then play with the license plate....

Voila!

Well, yes. I figured it was probably Pshopped, but I still think it is a bit more realistic!

Anyhoo, I would go for something like that if they give it AWD.

PhotoShop is great for giving us an idea of what the new vehicles may look like. I actually think the little truck is cute. Just think, a MINI truck at the Home Depot buying bags of mulch - or other big or dirty things that you wouldn't put in a car!

That Mini-truck is certainly believable. Imagine pulling up to a Dodge Ram or a Chevy Silverado! Oh, the looks one'll get.

It's so cute.

Despite the over-the-top "monsterness" of it, I ike the looks of the green one better. I think the main difference is that the cab seems to be taller in the green one. I've seen the blue one before and something just didn't look right about it. Now comparing with the green one, it seems that it is the cab height. The passenger compartment just looks too short (as in vertical height, not length) on the blue one.
