That is downright scarey. Is General Motors going to get royality money for BMW's direct copy of the 1998 Pontiac Grand Am?

It's OK I suppose - it looks as if it has been inspired by current Alfa Romeo design but somehow 'flattened' in the process. That front looks quite aggressive and almost looks like a third party bodykit!

You're absolutely right! Although, this might look a little better once the front cladding over the lights is removed. IMO, Bangle hasn't done anything positive for BMW and I hope someone gets the point before it's too late.

If you can persuade some kind soul in the UK to post pictures on here there are a whole fistful of the new BM Dubs in this week's Autocar.

I quite like it. I'd like to see what it looks like from the rear though.

Do you have any pictures of a Pontiac that might resemble the second generation MINI? That is the one I am worried about

I wouldnt be too worried about them messing with the MINI. But, keep your eyes out for the next Pontiac 1-series!

Yes, the Z8 is Bugly! I'd even say the Z8 is Fugly!

But then again, I drive a MINI so pretty much every other car is ugly to me!

I'm seeing a distinct "Joe Camel" look emerging in BMW's recent designs.

Hey, thats not fair. THE Pontiac is truly a magnificent automobile. The Pontiac sales brochures confirms that the Grand AM is excitement on wheels.
