Offline | They are available in other countries but MINI UK insists they will not be offered in the UK. Plenty of talk on this elsewhere too. There aint no party like my nana's tea party |

Offline | From what I can gather Mini UK has the view that they don't need to make EB available across the range as they can sell cars easily enough without adding more colours across the range. What about the customer is always right? I am sure the demand for EB is there in the UK. Come on Mini UK make me happy ![]() |

Offline | How about that lovely candy blue color That color is availble in countrys like Italy but not available in the US. I would love to see either candy blue or electric blue come to the states, prefferably electric blue but if candy blue came at least it would be a new color |

Offline | what about those MCS EB owners who don't want to see their color lose its exclusivity? Can't make everyone happy. Isn't Candy blue exclusive to the upcoming cabriolet? Last edited by GMINI03 : Oct 2nd, 2003 at 03:21 AM. |

Offline | I don't know whats going on with the convertible colors except that there will deffinitly be new colors available. I have been to the italian MINI site before and you can select candy blue as a color. Heck in the book of motoring there is even a color sample of it. What gives? |

Offline | You are correct, it has been awhile since I was at the italian website but about 6 or so months ago you could select candy blue for the cooper and or the ONE. I still find it odd that you can get an electric blue cooper there but not here. It sucks everytime we want a new or differnt color we have to give up something for it> (That is acording to BMW USA, trust me) |

Offline | i am driving myself mad over what colour to get my mini conv. if they did it in e/b all my troubles would be over in a instant. i dont think they will yet, but will be gutted in the future when they do, which they will when the minis not so popular.( you should give the punters what they want.) s owners will not agree, but we all know e/b will happen eventually. |

Offline | Great choice Steve, I collect my EB/B Works MCS tomorrow to replace an EB/B MCS I've had since September last year. There is no other colour combo to beat it IMO and I hope they never make prospective One and Cooper drivers happy by offering the colour across the range. KEEP IT EXCLUSIVE ![]() MINI Cooper S EB/B (No 2 but this one has the WORKS) arrived on 8 Oct 03. My first MCS was great but this one is awesome...thank goodness for Road Angel |

| MINI Traitor | When you say lost, you mean stopped production?? That's ok, because at least if you have a silk green car it's eclusivity is ensured as there aren't any more being made. I would have loved a silk green S, but it was always only a cooper only colour. If I ever see it on the road it is instantly recognisable as a cooper. That's very different from being told a colour was exclusive to the S and then making it an option across the range. I don't believe that either Velvet Red or Silk Green have ever been offered on the S. The pepper white was always going to be available soon on the S. ![]() I thought you were on my side ![]() |
