| Cap'n C o c k | A cautionary tale. My 05 Cooper has now had 3 gearboxes, each box managing no more than 5 thousand miles before complete failure, and I have received *very* poor service from the local dealer. I also have a Citroen Picasso, that has covered 85,000 miles, as the family hack. It has so far required 4 tyres, a new exhaust, and a brake light bulb. Yep, those french cars are still crappy, tinny, things (unlike those well put together MINIs )I'd rather be a lightning rod than a seismograph ![]() Ken Kesey 1935-2001 |
