It would be a huge success in Australia and elsewhere. Manufacturer's like Toyota & Mazda just don't make this size ute anymore. There's definately a market segment that needs re-inventing.......

bring on a woody-panelled Traveller..!!

1 Mini Cooper S (Electric Blue/White)
1 Ferrari F355 GTS (Giallo Modena)
1 BMW 320i Touring (Red)
1 Skoda Favorit rally spec (Red)

Every home should have one of each.

Didn't reply to zoooooom s post when originally posted, but every time I see the pick-up I can see it sitting beside my Cooper on the other side of the garage I agree with Basil, this is a segment of the market that needs re-inventing, and who better to do it than MINI! "IF THEY MAKE I WILL BUY ONE" think they heard me?

That looks rather smart IMO.... Reminds me of a little pick-up I've seen somewhere...

Re: mini pick-up

I saw a '73 Mini p/up for sale in FL 2 weeks ago! Right hand drive and in very good shape. If only I had my digital camera w/ me.

Oh yes, yes, YES!

Put me down on the list for one - as long as it has two proper doors at the back, like a real Countryman. (and its not such as a vile colour as my 1963 "fiesta yellow" model - think pus and you are on the right track....)

It's a MINI hearse!

What about a Mini Van. You could fill it full of subs, but then again you could fill it full of crap like all other vans.

MINI Truck approved

I work in the auto industry and have heard from a reliable source that MINI has already approved a MINI Truck or small SUV called the MEGAMINI.
