Alpina : september

we'll have to wait until september for the Mini Alpina,
they admit +/-200hp, that is it,
based on comparison of bmw-alpina : price is 35%higher than standard spec.
maybe they wait till sept. so bmw can take care of the quality-problems

September 02 ?........ amazed it's that early. 35% higher will keep the John Cooper Works cars in business for a while.....

You won't be able to compare the Alpina to the JC Works car, they'll be 2 totally different cars, The Alpina will be ordered by those that want something that much better and exclusive. That doesn't undermine the JC car at all, just that's how Alpina operate, and as for the 35% increase over std, it will be built to a better std than even BMW can get. Roll on Sept then.

It will be interesting to see the differences in spec, and how understated or overstated the styling will be.

Alpina bits are starting to turn up for MINI

I have been informed today of the part numbers and that 18 inch Alpina wheel and tyre sets are now available at UK dealers for MINI......not exactly cheap though

try......£2375 inc vat for 4 wheel and tyre set
