Don't Let Chris Bangle Touch our MINI's

He's ruined everything else that he's designed.. the god-awful 7-series is a classic example. He is an embarassment to BMW and should be let go. I heard that he's speaking British English now - even though he was raised in the USofA.

I can't stand a new 7-series! I can't believe that he ruined BMW's generation! Better sent him to Ford or Chev or whatever!

ugh!
Good idea to bring this topic!

Gee, what do you have against Daewoo?

I think he should be designing something without wheels -- like patio furniture.

How un-patriotic of you.

Don't be too harsh on Mr Bangle's design. It was done according to his design brief and ultimately approved of by BMW.

The only person that should be sent to another company was the person responsible for the front suspension that pulled left!

Mr Bangle may well speak the Kings English, but so what?
His past work with Fiat included the Coupe built at the Pininfarina factory. This was a highly praised example that allowed him more artisitic freedom in his design work.

I think it would be very interesting to see some of his ideas for a MINI design should the opportunity arise. The 7-series is not exactly the type of vehicle that you would expect to see with anything too radical design wise.

There is no shortage in Europe of satisfied Chris Bangle customers as seen below:
